A question that nearly every car enthusiast has an opinion on is “what is the best generation M3?” To some, the E30 with its DTM style box flares and revvy inline-4 is the best, to others, the newest one will always be the winner- but one generation that almost every driving enthusiast can agree on is the E90 chassis. Built between 2007 and 2013, the E90 M3 is the only variant in the M3's nearly 40-year lineage to feature a high-revving, naturally aspirated V8 and the final generation free of forced induction. This engine was paired with a sublime chassis, great steering, and the choice of either a 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed DCT, making this one of the greatest M3s but one of the ultimate driver's cars of the 2000s and 2010s. It is no wonder that less than 10 years after the car went out of production, collectors are beginning to snap up well-kept examples, and prices are rising.
This 2009 BMW M3 coupe is a striking example of the marque and has been exceptionally well kept, showing just 50,723 km from new. Finished in one of BMW's most famous colors- Alpine White- this car benefits from full BMW main dealer service since new with log book stamps dating back to February of 2009. Some of the unique features found on the exterior of the E92 M3 that separate it from its less high-performance siblings includes an exposed carbon fiber roof panel, quad exhaust tips out the back and a revised front bumper and side skirts. This car was well specced when new and is fitted with front and rear parking sensors, along with a set of 19” wheels that on this car, are finished in a beautiful contrasting anthracite grey.
The interior of the E92 M3 is what separates it from other sporty driver's cars- well thought out and just the right amount of luxury, the M3 is a comfortable place to be for a long road trip but still lets you feel like part of the action . The two front seats are exceptionally comfortable for long drives but offer fantastic bolstering for when the road gets twisty. In front of the driver sits a classic BMW M gauge cluster with all of the necessary information and a tachometer with BMW's signature movable redline as the car begins to warm up. This car was optioned with Black Novillo Extended Leather which, in addition to the seats, covers the dashboard and center console, giving the car an upscale feel and doing away with much of the plastic found on the standard car.
Powering the E90 generation M3 is the infamous S65 DOHC V8 which produces 414 horsepower and revs all the way to 8,400 rpm. As the final naturally aspirated M engine from BMW, this one made a statement. With 8 individual throttle bodies and VANOS variable valve timing on the intake and exhaust cams, the S65 is capable of providing gobs of low-end power while still revving higher than almost any other V8 on the market and making power all the way around the tachometer . In addition, it makes an outstanding noise that is low and muscular at idle but transitions to a high-pitched scream as you rev it out. This example was specified with a 7-speed double-clutch gearbox that offers smooth and seamless shifting around town while also guaranteeing you never miss a shift on track. Although some people may prefer the 6-speed manual cars, this engine was built with the DCT gearbox in mind.
Although it may be impossible to quantify what is truly the best M3, certain generations garner more widespread appreciation, and the E90 is one of those. With the number of high-quality examples dwindling, those with low miles, desirable options and a rock-solid service history are becoming more valuable every year. This M3 has been exceptionally kept, but it has enough mileage under its belt that you can enjoy taking it out and driving it without worrying about reducing the value.

Quest'auto è stata ben equipaggiata e dispone di sensori di parcheggio anteriori e posteriori, oltre a un set di cerchi da 19 pollici che, su questa vettura, sono rifiniti in un bellissimo grigio antracite a contrasto.
Esemplare magnifico che non necessita di nessun intervento per essere goduto appieno dal nuovo proprietario.
Sebbene sia impossibile indcare quale sia veramente la migliore M3, alcune generazioni sono sicuramente piu' apprezzate dalla critica e dal pubblico che altre e la E90/E92 è una di queste. Le M3 V8 con pochi chilometri, con libretto taglianti completo e una buona dotazione di optional sono sempre piu' rare.
